Doris Raynor Lee

Benson, NC:  Mrs. Doris Raynor Lee, age 90 of Hannah Creek Road, passed away on Saturday, September 12, 2020 at Liberty Commons Nursing and Rehabilitation in Benson.  Graveside Services will be held 1:00PM Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at Banner Chapel Advent Christian Church Cemetery, Benson.  Officiating will be Rev. Randy Beasley and Mr. Sammy Tew.             Mrs. Lee was born in Johnston County on November 21, 1929 to the late Gaston and Rossie Lee Raynor. She was preceded in death by her husband, Aaron B. Lee, Sr., son, Aaron B. Lee, Jr., son-in-law, Jeffro Hudson, grandson-in-law, Charles Alan Blackwelder and several brothers and sisters. She worked for many years at the Tastee Freeze in Benson, a homemaker and a member of Fair Haven Church of God.               Surviving are daughter, Jackie Hudson of Benson; grandchildren and spouse, Cindy H. and Chris Wolfe of Smithfield and Wendy H. and Charles Knowles of Newton Grove; great-grandchildren, Anna and Daniel Knowles of Newton Grove; many nieces and nephews.                   Mrs. Lee will lay in state and you may sign the register book from 1:00PM to 7:00PM on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at Rose and Graham Funeral Home in Benson.  The family will not be present during this time.             In accordance with NC-COVID-19 guidelines, the funeral home suggests practicing social distancing guidelines and the three W's: wait, wash, and wear a face covering.             The family appreciates your thoughts and prayers.             Flowers are welcomed; however, memorials may be made to Fair Haven Church of God 2675 US HWY 242 South, Benson, NC 27504.             Arrangements by Rose and Graham Funeral Home in Benson, NC
