Dorothy Wood Stone

Coats, NC:  Mrs. Dorothy Wood Stone, age 97, died Monday, June 17, 2019 at Harnett Wood Nursing Home in Dunn. Graveside Funeral Services will be 2:00PM Thursday, June 20, 2019 at Lakeside Memorial Gardens in Angier. Officiating will be Rev. Paul Cecil.             Mrs. Stone was born on September 29, 1921  in Harnett County to the late Henry Jackson and Estella Mae Moore Wood.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Stone; sisters, Helen Ducan and Peggy Wood Davis; brother, Harold J. Wood. Mrs. Stone was a homemaker and a sales associated with McKoy's Dime Store in Dunn. She was a member of Coats United Methodist Church.             Surviving include her daughter, Patsy Clevenger and husband, Keith of Angier; grandsons, Kenneth Clevenger and wife, Cheryl of Angier, Danny Hockaday and wife, JoAnn of Hampstead, Jeffery "Marty" Hockaday and wife, Terri of Hope Mills; granddaughter, Justina Wiser and husband, Thomas of Dunn; five great-grandchildren; nine great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.             Family will receive friends at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Coats from 12:30PM to 1:30PM prior to the graveside service and other times at the home of Patsy and Keith Clevenger 720 Carson Gregory Road Angier, NC 27501.                Arrangements by Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Coats.
