Edna Lou Beasley

Mrs. Edna Lou Beasley, age 80, of Fairground Road, passed away on Sunday, July 17, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 21, 2022 from 6:00PM-8:00PM at Rose and Graham Funeral Home in Benson, NC. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date. 

Mrs. Beasley was born on September 11, 1941 in Johnston County to the late Albert A. “Buck” Dunn and Edna Louise Taylor Dunn. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Arnold Lewis Dunn, Jimmy C. Dunn, and Donald Ray Dunn. Mrs. Beasley was a seamstress by trade and later retired from Bowman Enterprises. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend.

Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Willie Otha Beasley, Jr.; daughter, Wanda Stancil; brothers, Albert Tyson Dunn and Donnie Lee Dunn; and several nieces and nephews.

Flowers are welcome and the family requests that people dress casual for the visitation.
