Four Oaks, NC: Mrs. Edna Anderson Blackmon, age 85, of 1156 White Oak Road died Friday, July 27, 2012 at her residence. Funeral services will be 11:00AM Monday, July 30, 2012, at Rose & Graham Funeral Chapel in Four Oaks. Officiating will be Revs. Danny Pointer and Sherwood Lassiter. Burial will follow in Lee’s Chapel Advent Christian Church Cemetery.             Mrs. Blackmon was born October 23, 1926 in Wayne County to the late Robert Lee and Celia Ann Beasley Anderson. She was also preceded in death by her Husband, Dewey Borden Blackmon; a Son, James Blackmon; a Grandson, Anthony Lynn Lee; and Sisters, Nora Smith, Mildred Singleton, and Susan Spencer. Mrs. Blackmon worked in the textile industry, Wal-Mart, and was a homemaker. She was also a member of Lee’s Chapel Advent Christian Church                    Surviving include Children & Spouses, Linda Rose & Gary Blackmon of Smithfield, Franklin & Gayle Blackmon, Edward & Sandra Blackmon, and Josephine B. & Linwood Lee, all of Four Oaks; Brother, Thomas Anderson of Goldsboro; Grandchildren & Spouses, Tori Evans & Joey Parrish of Benson, Amber Deans Jones of Smithfield, Ashley Deans of Smithfield, Martha Lee & Andy Garris of Four Oaks, Lori B. & Jonathan Allen of Four Oaks, Terry Blackmon of Four Oaks, and Robert & Kellie Blackmon of Newton Grove; Step-Grandchildren, Shane Blackmon and Traci B. & Tim Johnson; Great Grandchildren, Anthony L. Parrish, Kendra Rae Parrish, Madison Rhodes, Jaxson Jones, Casey Lee, Courtney Garris, Joseph Blackmon, Holden Blackmon, Riley Blackmon, Lauren Register, and Lindsey Allen; Step-Great Grandchild, Rebecca Johnson.             Family will receive friends 6:00PM to 8:00PM Sunday, July 29, 2012, at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Four Oaks.             Flowers are welcomed; however memorials may be made to American Cancer Society, P. O. Box 1544, Smithfield, NC  27577.
