Edna Stevens Collier

Coats, NC:  Mrs. Edna Stevens Collier, age 95, passed away on Friday, July 3, 2020 with her loving daughter, Edna Mae Langdon by her side, at Betsy Johnson Regional Hospital in Dunn. Funeral Services will be held 11:00AM Tuesday, July  7, 2020 at Ebenezer Presbyterian Church in Coats.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Officiating will be Rev. Jimmy Newkirk.           Mrs. Collier was born on January 31, 1925 in Harnett County to the late Albert Stevens and Daisy Wiggins Stevens Wood. She was preceded in death by her husband, Nathan P. Collier, sister, Lura Flowers; brothers, David Stevens, Earl Stevens and Bobby Stevens. Mrs. Collier was a homemaker and a member of Ebenezer Presbyterian Church.             Surviving are her children, Edna C. Langdon and husband, Kent of Angier, Pat C. Moore and husband, Jimmy of Raleigh, Paul Collier and wife, JoAnne of Angier, Haywood Collier and wife, Jacqueline of Mooresville; ten grandchildren; twenty- four great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; sister, Margaret Pope of Coats; sister-in--law, Linda Collier of Godwin; numerous nieces and nephews.              Mrs. Collier will be available for viewing, and you will be able to sign the register book on Monday, July 6, 2020 from 12:00 Noon-5:00PM at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Coats and one hour prior to the funeral service. The family will not be present during these times but will be gathering at the home of Edna and Kent Langdon 2771 Langdon Road Angier, NC 27501.              Flowers are welcomed; however, memorials may be made to her church, Ebenezer Presbyterian Church c/o Vickie Ennis P.O. Box 397 Coats, NC 27521 .             In accordance with the current NC-COVID19 guidelines, the funeral home suggest practicing social distancing guidelines and the three W's: wait, wash, and wear a face covering.
