Four Oaks, NC: Mrs. Edna Weaver Johnson, age 94, of US 701 South passed away Saturday, April 25, 2020 surrounded by her loving family at her residence. The Johnson Family will hold a private graveside service at Mill Creek Christian Church Cemetery in Bentonville. Officiating will be Rev. Jessica Braxton.
Mrs. Johnson was born on April 28, 1925 in Johnston County to the late Bill and Betty Williams Weaver. She was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Johnson; brothers, Valton and Lacy Weaver; sisters, Naomi Britt and Lois Denning. Mrs. Johnson was a homemaker, sales clerk, and a life- long member of Mill Creek Christian Church in Bentonville.
Surviving are her daughter, Carol Holley and husband, Jerry of Four Oaks; Rev. Linwood Johnson wife, Juila of Four Oaks; grandchildren, Karen Holley Lambert and husband, Scott, Scott Johnson and friend, Lynn Massengill, Jennifer Johnson Gaddis and husband, Bengie, Lauren Futrell Guy and husband, Jacob; great-grandchildren, Alli and Hannah Lambert, Madison and Jaxon Gaddis, Emilie and Adalynn Guy; several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Johnson will be available for viewing, and you will be able to sign the register book on Sunday, April 26, 2020 from 1:00 PM-5:00 PM at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Four Oaks. The family will not be present during this time.
The Johnson Family would like to thank Mrs. Johnson's caregivers, Jenell Locklear and Shirlean Jones for the loving care they gave to their mother.
