Edward Lee

Benson, NC: Mr. Edward Earl Lee, age 85, of 2468 NC Hwy 50 South died Monday at Betsy Johnson Hospital in Dunn.  Funeral Services will be 2:00PM Wednesday at Rose & Graham Funeral Home Chapel in Benson. Officiating will be Rev. Calvin Leavitt and Dr. Larry Withrow.  Burial will follow in Banner Chapel Advent Christian Church Cemetery, Benson.              Mr. Lee was born July 31, 1929 in Johnston County to the late James and Spicey Florence McLamb Lee. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Iva Mae Johnson Lee; and brother, Jimmy Lee. Mr. Lee was retired from home construction and a member of Holly Grove Advent Christian Church.             Surviving are his Daughter and Son-In-Law, Sue L. and Eddie Wood of Benson; Grandchildren and Spouse, Wendy Wood of Benson, Nicholas Keith and Angela Wood of Benson; Great-Grandchildren, Chloe Addison Taylor, Blake Austin Taylor, and Cody Taylor; Sisters, Zadie McLamb of Benson, Elouise Yarbourgh of Sanford, Carol Jefferies, Betty Henderson, Lynda Dowdy of Moncure, and Joyce Elliott of Sanford; and several nieces and nephews.             Family will receive friends from 6:00PM to 8:00PM Tuesday at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson and other times at the home of Sue & Eddie Wood, 2446 NC Hwy 50 South, Benson, NC.
