Edward Lee

Mr. Edward “Ed” Lee age 94 of 2641 Lee’s Union Church Road passed away Sunday at Johnston Medical Center.  Graveside Funeral Service will be 11:00AM Tuesday, August 21, 2012 at Hills of the Neuse Memory Gardens, Smithfield, NC. Rev. Billy Nowell will officiate.             Mr. Lee was born April 5, 1918 in Johnston County to the late Willie Eldridge and Clyda Mae Lee.  He was a retired farmer and mechanic. Mr. Lee was preceded in death by his wife Vadie L. Lee, Son, Johnny Wayne Lee and Brothers, Ira B. Lee, Eston Lee and a Sister, Martha Grice.  He attended Antioch United Methodist Church. Surviving include: Son and Daughter-in-law, Odell & Helen Lee of Garner, Daughter, Deborah Blackman of Four Oaks, Grandchildren, Venae Williams, Johnna Lee Faulconer, Graham Lee, Jansen Lee Lloyd, Jason Wayne Lee and Jonathan Johnson; Five Great-Grandchildren & Four Great-Great Grandchildren. Sisters, Rachel Aman, Ruth Westbrook, Dorothy Underhill, Verlene Lee and Naomi Coker; Brother, Earl Lee. Many Nieces and Nephews. Family will receive immediately following the Graveside Service at the cemetery.
