Newton Grove, NC: Mr. Edward Francis Logan, age 85, of 250 Alonzo Road formerly of Whiteville died Saturday, April 27, 2013 at the SECU Hospice House in Smithfield. Graveside Funeral Service will be held 11:00 AM Friday, May 3, 2013 at Unity Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Newton Grove with fireman’s honors.
Mr. Logan was born June 27, 1927 in Washington, D.C. to the late Eugene and Mary Mould Logan. Mr. Logan was a retired Washington DC firefighter with 25 years of service. He was also a US Navy veteran.
Surviving are Son and Daughter-In-Law, Lou and Amanda Logan of Newton Grove and Daughter Tonia Fiehler of Williamsburg, Virginia; Grandchildren, Tara Ann Logan of Paris, France, Austin Edward Fiehler and Kristin Easter Fiehler both of Williamsburg, Virginia, Jonathan Darden of Newton Grove, and Justin Cain of White Oak, NC; and Sister, Cecil Fedrizzi of Maryland.
Family will receive friends at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson Thursday, May 2, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. and other times at the home.
