Elaine Parrish Langdon

Four Oaks, NC: Mrs. Elaine Parrish Langdon, age 97, of Lassiter Road passed away on Thursday, June 16, 2022 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro surrounded by her loving family.  The family will receive friends from 6:00PM to 8:00PM on Friday, June 24, 2022 at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Four Oaks and other times at the home of Timothy and Renée Langdon, 1580 King Mill Road, Four Oaks, NC 27524.

Funeral Services will be 10:00AM-Saturday, June 25, 2022 at the Rose & Graham Funeral Home Chapel in Four Oaks.  Mr. Gary Knutson will be officiating. Committal Service will follow in the Sunset Memorial Park in Smithfield followed by a reception for all at Four Oaks Fire Department Station Number 2, 825 Lassiter Road, Four Oaks, NC 27524.

Mrs. Langdon was born in Johnston County on November 26, 1924 to the late Parrot Alton and Beulah Mae Johnson Parrish. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Ray Langdon; her brothers, Alton Sherwood Parrish, Parrot Alton Parrish, and Gene Blanco Parrish. Mrs. Langdon farmed along side her husband for many years and was a Teacher’s Assistant with Four Oaks Elementary School for over 28 years.

Survivors include her sons, George Michael Langdon of Four Oaks, Timothy Ray Langdon and wife, Renée of Four Oaks; grandchildren, Caroline Michelle Langdon, George Rex Langdon, Gabrielle Rose Langdon, Gaston Ray Langdon; sister, Julia P. Miller of Fuquay-Varina; several nieces and nephews.
