Elam Glenn Temple

Four Oaks, NC: Mr. Elam Glenn Temple, age 84, of Tettersville Road passed away at his home on Wednesday, July 31, 2024. Funeral Services will be held-1:00 PM Saturday, August 3, 2024 at Rose and Graham Funeral Chapel in Four Oaks. Officiating will be Rev. Rodney Brittain. Burial will follow in the Caswell Temple Family Cemetery in Four Oaks. 

Mr. Temple was born on December 29, 1939 in Johnston County to the late Calvert Caswell and Louise Barefoot Temple. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Francis Jeanette Altman Temple; daughters, Sharon Lynn Temple and Carolyn Ann Temple; and son, Clinton Temple. Prior to retirement, he owned and operated Temple’s Upholstery in Greensboro, NC for many years and loved what he did and worked as long as he was able. He also loved to fish, hunt, raise his dogs, and spend time with his family. 

Surviving is his son, Junior Glenn Temple; brother, Wayne Temple and his wife, Judy; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. 

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, August 2, 2024 at Rose and Graham Funeral Home in Four Oaks.
