Elizabeth McLeod Coffey

Mrs. Elizabeth McLeod Coffey, age 79, passed away Friday, November 19, 2021 at her residence in Clayton, NC surrounded by her loving family. Memorial Services will be announced at a later date.

Mrs. Coffey was born on January 1, 1942 in Cumberland County to the late Watis Page and Sadie Mae Parker McLeod. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Mae Lynn Murray and her brothers, Watis P. McLeod, Jr. and Archie T. McLeod. Mrs. Coffey was a homemaker.

Surviving include her children, Karen Horton Murray, Richard Murray, Anna Murray King, John Murray, Terina Coffey Upchurch, and Christopher Cullen Coffey; sisters, Sheila McLeod Keene, Norma McLeod Bullock, Ruth McLeod Potter, and Jean Hall Bullock; brothers, Richard McLeod and David McLeod; 12 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
