Elizabeth Gregory

Four Oaks: Mrs. Elizabeth Lassiter Gregory, age 89, of Four Oaks passed away Wednesday, April 18, 2012, at Johnston Medical Center in Smithfield. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Friday, April 20, 2012, at St. Mary’s Grove Original Free Will Baptist Church Benson. Officiating will be Rev. David Langley.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Gregory was born September 20, 1922 in Johnston County to the late J. Vaden & Mamie Lassiter. She was also preceded in death by her husband, R.C. Gregory. Mrs. Gregory was a retired cafeteria worker with Four Oaks School, a homemaker, and a member of St. Mary’s Grove Original Free Will Baptist Church. Surviving are one daughter, one son, three grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Family will receive friends in the church sanctuary immediately following the service. Flowers are welcomed; however memorials may be made to St. Mary’s Grove Original Free Will Baptist Church, c/o Cathy Langdon, 7151 Raleigh Road, Benson, NC  27504 or to one’s favorite charity.
