Elizabeth Doreen Lee, a beloved mother, wife, and friend, passed away on February 17, 2025, at the SECU Hospice House in Smithfield, North Carolina, surrounded by her loving family. Born on June 5, 1964, in Granville County, North Carolina, Elizabeth was a remarkable woman whose warmth and kindness touched the lives of many.

For a significant part of her life, Elizabeth dedicated herself to her work as a Group Leader at Electro Switch in Raleigh. She cherished the relationships she built with her coworkers, often expressing how much she loved all the people she worked with. Elizabeth's dedication and passion for her work were evident until her illness prevented her from continuing her career.

Elizabeth was known for her deep love for her family and her cherished dogs, Buddy and Bear. She enjoyed spending her free time at the beach or by the river, where she found joy in fishing. The tranquility of nature brought her peace and happiness, reflecting her gentle spirit and appreciation for the world around her.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 40 years, Charles Lee; her son, Raeford Dale Lee; and her brother, Fran Willis, who is married to Kathy. These family members will forever hold dear the memories they shared with Elizabeth, honoring her legacy of love, kindness, and devotion.

Elizabeth is preceded in death by her parents, Marion Willis and Mary Faircloth Willis, who have welcomed her into their arms.

A visitation will take place on March 1, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Bethel Original Free Will Baptist Church, located at 3168 NC 96 S., Four Oaks, NC 27524. This will be followed by a memorial service officiated by Rev. Todd Creech, beginning at 2:00 PM and concluding at 3:00 PM at the same location.

Elizabeth Doreen Lee will be remembered for her unwavering love, her joy in simple pleasures, and her significant impact on those fortunate enough to know her. May her memory be a blessing to all.
