Ella Breedlove

Ella Arlene (Pearson) Breedlove, born October 20th, 1931, was lifted to rest April 19th, 2019 at UNC Heathcare in Chapel Hill.  She passed with the presence of her youngest son Robert and his wife Kitty, by her side. The delicate body of our dearest, at the hands of congestive heart failure, will forever rest in peace. Arlene had a fanciful way about her.  She was exquisite in her ruffled gowns and silky robes. She was warm and tender in her tiny stature yet, so strong carrying years behind her. She was a flirt with her radiant smile and had a love for people unmatched. Her celebration of life through her gift of food, symbolizes her love, affection and generous nature toward others. She had mastered the art of friendship. She was lovely and valued acceptance,  opinionated, though never passing judgment. She is cherished to the end for her devotion to those who knew her. Arlene is preceded in death by her parents, Melton Lockford Pearson and Arvie Mandeana Sawyer, her five brothers, Phillip, Carlos, Onial, Melton and Tommy, her sister Evelyn, as well as her first born son Hollis. She is survived by an expansive loving family to include her middle son Kenneth, her youngest son Robert, her three grandchildren, her five great grandchildren and her two great great grandchildren. Her family wishes to extend a special thank you to the many people so meaningful in her life, those not listed, who've provided a wealth of love and comfort to Arlene. Please celebrate Arlene's life with us.  Her viewing to be held 6:00pm - 8:00pm on Wednesday, April 24th 2019 and her funeral to be held 11:00am - 12:00pm on Thursday, April 25th 2019 at Casillas Funeral Home, 1303 Glenwood Street, Delano CA 93215, with a graveside ceremony directly after.
