Dunn: Mrs. Eloise Baker Warren, age 91, of 2041 Fayetteville Hwy went home to Glory Monday at Johnston Health in Clayton. Funeral services will be 7:00PM Wednesday at Central Baptist Church in Dunn. Officiating will be Revs. Tom Wagoner and Wayne Warren. Burial will be 11:00AM Thursday in Shady Grove Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery in Dunn.
Mrs. Warren was born on November 21, 1924 in Sampson County to the late Ben T. and Metta "Bake" Lockamy Baker. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Earl Cecil Warren; son, Bennie Thomas Warren; and brother, Gordon Baker. Mrs. Warren retired from South River Electric and was a homemaker. She was also a member of Central Baptist Church, Just-A-Mere Garden Club and Newton Grove Eastern Star Lodge #267.
Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Rev. Wayne and Jacquolyn Warren of Enfield, NC and Michael and Deana Warren of Angier; grandchildren, Colby Warren, Calton Warren and Hunter Warren; daughter-in-law, Michele Warren Hair of Dunn; sisters-in-law, Willa Baker of Dunn and Margaret Warren of Wilmington; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at Central Baptist Church in Dunn from 5:00PM - 6:45PM Wednesday prior to the service and other times at the home.
Flowers are welcome; however, memorials may be made to Anna Ruth Christian Retreat, 39 Minnow Lane, Enfield, NC 27823.
