Four Oaks, NC: Mrs. Elsie Mae Stanley Adams, age 72, of 2663 NC Highway 96 South died Tuesday at Johnston Medical Center. Funeral service will be 11:00 AM, Thursday March 14, 2013 at Rose & Graham Chapel in Four Oaks. Officiating will be Revs. Steve Lawson and Billy Nowell. Burial will follow in Piney Grove Church Cemetery, Four Oaks, NC. Mrs. Adams was born February 26, 1941 in Johnston County to the late James Walter & Katie O'dell Stanley. Mrs. Adams was preceded in death by her husband, James Rufus Adams. Mrs. Adams was a member of Lee's Chapel Advent Christian Church and retired from Burlington Mills with 30 years of service. Surviving are Sons and Daughters-in-law,  James Robert Adams and friend Sherry, Walter Earl Adams and wife Kimberly and Tony Wayne Adams and wife Betty Jo, all of Four Oaks; Sisters Betty Lou Messer of Four  Oaks, Joy Ann Adams of Four Oaks; Granddaughter Tonya Jo Adams Denning of Benson, Two Step-Grandchildren, Chris and Mandy Barbour and One Step Great-Grandson, Zachary Livingston.  Several Nieces and Nephews. Family will receive friends 6:00PM-8:00PM, Wednesday, March 12, 2013 at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Four Oaks and other times at the home.
