Ezra Linwood Denning

Coats, NC: Mr. Ezra Linwood Denning, age 71 of Coats, passed away on Thursday, September 22, 2022 at his home surrounded by his family. Funeral Services will be 1:00PM Thursday, September 29, 2022 at Rose & Graham Chapel in Coats.  Burial will follow in the Coats City Cemetery.  Officiating will be Rev. Paul Cecil.

Linwood was born on December 15, 1950 in Wake County to the late Ezra “Doc” and Gladys Denning and was preceded in death by several siblings. Linwood was an electrician by trade.  He worked for Burlington Industries and later retired from Kelly Springfield.

He is survived by his son, Jeffery Denning and wife Melissa; grandchildren, Joshua Denning, Jacob Denning, Mitchell Denning and Megan D. Cogar; great grandchildren, Vince and Bentley Cogar; sister, Judy Wood; special friends, Durane Currin, Jarvis Tart, Jr. and Polly Byrd.

Family will receive friends 6:00PM to 8:00PM on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Coats.
