Faye Austin Peedin Curtis

Faye Austin Peedin Curtis, age 66, of Four Oaks, NC, passed away peacefully from her earthly life on Saturday, June 10, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. Funeral Services will be 3:00PM-Friday, June 16, 2023 at Rose and Graham Funeral Chapel in Four Oaks, NC. Burial will follow in Hills of the Neuse Memory Gardens in Smithfield, NC.

She was born July 29, 1956, to the late William and Margaret Austin of Four Oaks, NC.  Faye was the third of their six children, and was preceded in death by husband, Joey Peedin and mother, Margaret Austin Butler Bishop.

Faye was a 1974 graduate of South Johnston High School, Four Oaks, NC.  She received her BS in Business Administration from North Carolina Wesleyan College, Rocky Mount, NC.  Faye was a 45-year employee of Grifolds and had planned to retire at the end of this year.

The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Faye.  She enjoyed shopping at “The Boutique” (AKA Goodwill) and sharing her treasures with others.  Faye was a kind and thoughtful soul.  She is remembered for her unconditional sacrificial love, frankness, cheerful spirit, encouraging attitude, bright smile, and attention to detail.  She will be remembered and missed by the many lives she touched.

Faye is survived by her daughter, Heather Faye Peedin, two grandchildren Gabriel Blaine Peedin and Jada Michele Peedin and two “One Child” sponsored Ethiopian children.  Her surviving siblings include: LaVerne Miller (Jim), Dale Austin (Gail), Jerry Austin (Sheryl), Sylvia Craig (Stu), Janice LaRue Lacy (Frank); many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 1:45PM-2:45PM-Friday, June 16, 2023 at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Four Oaks, NC.
