Frederick "Fred" Johnson

Coats, NC: Mr. Frederick “Fred” Howard Johnson, age 67, of 25 MJR Lane in Coats died Monday , September 17, 2012, at his residence. Funeral services will be 3:00PM Friday, September 21, 2012, at Gift Primitive Baptist Church in Coats. Officiating will be Elders Fred Williams, Tony Parker, and Ric Stewart. Burial will follow in Bethel Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Johnson was born January 23, 1945 in Virginia to the late C.R. and Lottie Inge Johnson. He was also preceded in death by a Son, Vincent Johnson, and a Brother, Carl Johnson. Mr. Johnson worked at EEG Technology and owned and operated Johnson & Johnson Landscaping.  In later years, he owned and operated Southern Pride Produce. Mr. Johnson was a member of Gift Primitive Baptist Church. Surviving include his Wife of 40 years, Brenda Stevens Johnson; Daughters & Spouses, Dawn & Keith Bousquet of Little Washington, NC, and Melanie J. & Rick Payne of Tracy, CA.; Grandchildren, Chelsea Boyd, Christopher Payne, and Anthony Payne; Sisters, Barbara Siler of Asheville, Sandra Johnson of Lillington, Becky Edmondson of Clayton, and Pam Jones of Greensboro. Family will receive friends from 6:00PM to 8:00PM Thursday, September 20, 2012, at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Coats.
