G. Franklin "Frankie" Colville

Erwin, NC:  Mr. G. Franklin "Frankie" Colville, age 72, of Frank Colville Lane, passed away on Friday, June 5, 2020 surrounded by his loving family. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM, June 8, 2020 at Erwin Chapel P.F. W. B. Church, Erwin.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Officiating will be Rev. Danny Helms.           Mr. Colville was born on July 6, 1947 in Harnett County to the late William Gordon and Alda Mavis Stewart Colville. He was preceded in death by his brother, William Earl Spivey. Mr. Colville worked with the town of Dunn for 25 years.             Surviving are his wife of  41 years, Diane Liles Colville; children, Joyce Colville Brown of Raleigh, Todd Penny and wife Crystal of Four Oaks; grandchildren; Trevor, McKenzie, Christina and Kelly; great-grandchildren, Arya, Jaymen and Karma; sisters, Delores Carter of Dunn and Pattie Sue Weaver of Angier; aunt, Lida "Aunt Notty" Pope of Coats; several nieces, nephews and cousins.              Mr. Colville will be available for viewing, and you will be able to sign the register book on Monday, June 8, 2020 from 9:00AM-11:30AM at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Coats and from 12:30PM to 1:45PM at the church prior to the service. The family will not be present during these times but will receive friends in the fellowship immediately following the service and other times at the home.              Flowers are welcomed; however, memorials may be made to Erwin Chapel Church 135 Erwin Chapel Road Erwin, NC 28339.             Due to the current health concerns the family understands if you are not able to join them for the services.
