Gladys Adams

Four Oaks, NC: Mrs. Gladys Moore Adams, age 88, 121 Dalton Lane died Monday, June 24, 2013 at Smithfield Manor in Smithfield.  Funeral Services will be 11:00AM-Friday, June 28, 2013 at Beulah Hill Christian Church in Four Oaks. Officiating will be Rev. Sam Blackmon.   Burial will follow in  the Dicey-Dunn Cemetery. Mrs. Adams was born May 30, 1925 in  Johnston County to the late John Ira & Lucretia Massengill Moore. Mrs. Adams was a homemaker and was a member of Beulah Hill Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Boyd Adams; sisters, Vernie Blackman and Esther Moore; Brothers, Ralph Moore, Daniel Moore, Robert Moore and Ira Moore. Surviving are, Daughter & Son-In Law, Dale & Gerry O'Neill of Four Oaks; Sons & Daughters- In-Law, Bobby G. & Brenda Adams of Four Oaks and Dennis R. and Beverly Adams of Fayetteville; Seven Grandchildren; Fourteen Great-Grandchildren; Three Great-Great Grandchildren; Brother, J. I. Moore of Knoxville, TN; Several Nieces and Nephews. The family will receive friends in the church fellowship hall one hour prior to the service and other times at the home of Bobby and Brenda Adams 125 Dalton Lane Four Oaks, NC 27524. Flowers are welcome; however memorial maybe made to Alzheimer's Association National Office, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601.
