Glenda Faye Denton

Ms. Glenda Denton age 72 of Coats, NC went to meet her Lord and Savior on April 15, 2024. Funeral Services will be 3:00PM-Friday, April 19, 2024 at Rose & Graham Funeral Home, Coats, NC.  Burial will follow in the Coats City Cemetery. Rev. Chuck Jones will officiate.  

Glenda was born on February 16, 1952, in Harnett County to the late Ezekiel Lee and Merle Bryant Lee.  Glenda was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Denton and her daughter-in-law, Brenda Warren.  Glenda in her earlier years was very involved with her community.   She won woman of the year in Coats.  Later in life due to her health she wasn’t as active but she loved her family, her church and her Lord. 

  Glenda is survived by her children, Kenneth Denton, Jamie Warren and wife, Gina, Angie Ingram and husband, Chris and Michael Denton and wife, Ashley; grandchildren, Tabitha Collinson, Angel Haywood, Travis Miles, Jr. Rivera, Ashley Rivera, Joshua Robbins, Justin Warren, Eli Warren and Zeke Maples; nine great grandchildren; sisters, Charlotte Spradling and Jane Batten; brother, Jimmy Lee. 

            The family will receive friends after the committal service at the graveside.
