Norfolk, VA: Mrs. Glenda Faye “Linda” Weaver Wyatt, age 69, passed away on Saturday, February, 22, 2020 at Sentara Leigh Hospital in Norfolk. Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM-Saturday, February 29, 2020 at Rose & Graham Funeral Chapel in Benson. Revs. Roney Marrs and Kathryn Marrs will officiate. Burial will follow in Hodges Chapel Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Wyatt was born on May 25, 1950 in Harnett County to the late Joseph Daniel and Pauline Rogers Weaver. She was preceded in death by her great-grandson, Goku Dean Woelk; father-in-law, Andy Wyatt and mother-in-law, Betty Wilson, sisters-in-law, Deborah Wyatt and Sandra Wyatt Ball; brother-in-law, Robert Wayne Miller. Mrs. Wyatt was a Health Benefits Advisor with the US Government and was a homemaker.
Surviving include her husband of 38 years, Andy Allen Wyatt; children, Larry C. Cooke and wife, Angel; David L. Cooke and wife, Sherry all of Virgina; Eddie Greer and wife, Crystal of West Virgina; and Brandon S. Cooke and wife, Ashley of Florida; ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; sister, Brenda Miller of Benson; brother, Jeffery Weaver and wife, Anne of Coats; sister-in-law, Rebecca Vaughn of West Virginia; brothers-in-law, David Wyatt of Mt. Airy and Randall Wilson of West Virginia; step-father-in-law, Delbert Wilson of W. Virginia; special uncle, Kenneth Bowen of W. Virginia; many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Friday, February 28, 2020 at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson and other times at the home of Brenda Miller, 9513 NC HWY 27 E. Benson, NC 27504.
