Hal Ennis, Sr.

Benson, NC:  Mr. Hal Richard Ennis, Sr., age 68, of 306 West Church Street died Wednesday, February 13, 2013, at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh.  A funeral service will be 12:00Noon Saturday, February 16, 2013, at Rose & Graham Funeral Chapel.  Burial will follow in Devotional Gardens in Dunn. Mr. Ennis was born January 10, 1945 in Newport News, Virginia to Evelyn Ennis of Dunn and the late Hubert Ennis.  He was also preceded in death by a brother, Donald Ennis, and a sister, Kay Ennis.  Mr. Ennis was in the fire protection industry and a member of 669 Sprinkler Fitter’s Union. Surviving, in addition to his mother, are wife of 48 years, Sharon Stephenson Ennis; children, Elizabeth Ann E. Toole of Benson, Hal Richard Ennis, Jr., of Coats, John David Ennis of Benson, Ashley Brent Ennis of Dunn, and Joshua Brooks Ennis of Wilson Mills; sister, Pam Ennis of Dunn; brothers, Linwood Ennis of Dunn, Hubert Ennis, Jr. of Dunn, Gary L. Ennis of Coats, Phil R. Ennis of Dunn, Stanley Ennis of Pink Hill, and Perry Dale Ennis of Dunn; grandchildren, Zachary Toole, Kaitlyn Toole, Claire Ennis, Noah Ennis, Levi Ennis, and Evelyn Ennis; and numerous nieces & nephews. Family will receive friends at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson from 6:00PM to 8:00PM Friday, February 15, 2013.
