Hank Austin Barnes, Sr.

          Mr. Hank Austin Barnes, Sr., age 71, passed away on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at Central Harnett Hospital in Lillington, NC. Graveside Funeral Services will be 3:00PM-Saturday, February 19, 2022 at Bethel Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery outside Angier, NC.  Rev. Glenn McCullen will officiate.

            Mr. Barnes was born on August 14, 1950 in Harnett County, NC to the late Carvis and Elsie Langdon Barnes. He was preceded in death by his sister, Phyllis Koutsis.  Mr. Barnes was the owner and operator of Hank Barnes Investments and Hank’s Auto Sales.

            Surviving include his wife, Tonya Byrd Barnes; son, Hank Austin Barnes, Jr., brother, Maynard Barnes; several nieces and nephews.

            The family will receive friends from 1:30PM-2:30PM, Saturday, February 19, 2022 at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson, NC.
