Harold Eastwood Ennis

Angier, NC: Mr. Harold Eastwood Ennis, age 87, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at his residence. Graveside Funeral Services will be 3:00PM-Sunday, October 27, 2024 at Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery, 416 Greenleaf Road, Angier, NC 27501. Rev. W.A. Creech, his nephew will officiate.

Mr. Ennis was born on September 10, 1937 in Johnston County, NC, to the late Louis Harvey and Alma Mae Johnson Ennis. Mr. Ennis was preceded in death by his brother, Roy Lee Ennis. Harold worked for many years at the Atlantic and Pacific (A & P) Food Distribution Center in Raleigh, NC. He retired in 2006 following a career with RayChem Tyco Electronics in Fuquay Varina, NC. He was a member of Benson Grove Baptist Church. 

Survivors include his wife of 69 years, Audrey Creech Ennis; children, Jan E. Jernigan and husband, Glynn, and Tammy Ennis Harvey; grandchildren, Michael Wise and wife, Becky, Brandon Wise and wife, Amber, Ashley M. Jones, and husband, Matthew, and Kristin McLeod; great-grandchildren, Aubrie, Austin, Logan and Brooklyn Wise, Parker and Kennedy Jones and Emma McLamb; sisters-in-law, Betty Creech, Geraldine Creech Tart, and Barbara Creech Meeks and husband, Robert; special nieces and nephews, Sharon E. Hunter and husband, Hampton, Pam E. Holding, Kay Ennis, Kim E. Lee and husband, Jeff, and Roy L. Ennis, Jr., and wife, Shelia. 

The family will receive friends following the graveside service on Sunday.
