Harold Darnell Willis

Spotsylvania, VA: Mr. Harold Darnell Willis, age 67, passed away at home in Spotsylvania, VA, on December 10, 2016, due to complications from diabetes.  A graveside Funeral Service will be held at 3:00PM, Saturday, September 23 at Roselawn Cemetery, Benson, NC.  Rev. Eddie White will be officiating.             Mr. Willis was born February 28,1949 in Washington, DC.  He grew up in Riverdale Maryland.    Mr. Willis had a long career with the Federal Government at the Bureau of Mines and then at Geological Survey, retiring in 1999.             Surviving are his son, John C. Willis of Greensboro, NC; brother, David Willis; sister, Patricia Kendall; sister-in-law, Gail Willis; brother-in-law, Christopher Kendall; and several nieces and nephews and their children.               In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Harold D.
