Harvey Bailey

Mr. Harvey Earl Bailey Sr., age 63, of Smithfield died Sunday at UNC Johnston Health in Smithfield. A memorial service will be held Thursday, January 28, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Unity Pentecostal Church, 605 E. Morris Ave, Benson, NC.  Pastor Will Roland will officiate. Mr. Bailey  was born  May 1, 1952 in Johnston County to the late Roy William Bailey, Sr. and Lena Mae Rhodes.  He was a retired carpenter.  Mr. Bailey served in the U. S. Navy. He is survived by wife of 26 years, Teresa Ward Bailey; Children, Angela Roland Wilkins, Roy William Roland, Jr., Harvey Earl Bailey, Jr. and Marla Blanton all of  Smithfield; 8 Grandchildren; Brothers, William Roy Bailey of Micro, Donald Bailey of Smithfield and  Frankie Bailey of Archer Lodge ; Sisters, Myrtle  Gray  Langley  and  Marie  Bailey.
