Harvey Sessoms

Erwin, NC: Mr. Harvey Conway Sessoms, age 87, passed away on Sunday, January 3, 2021 at Betsy Johnson Hospital in Dunn.  Graveside Service will be 3:00PM-Saturday, January 9, 2021 at Erwin Memorial Park in Erwin, NC.  Rev. Jim Wallace will officiate.              Mr. Sessoms was born in Harnett County to the late Jarvis and Flossie Sears Sessoms.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Katherine Sessoms, his brothers, Ernest Cecil Sessoms, A. Eugene Sessoms and Elbert J. Sessoms and a step-son, William Dempsey Tadlock.  Mr. Sessoms retired from Erwin Mills with 45 years of service and was a member of Erwin Advent Christian Church in Erwin.              Surviving include his brother, Arnold E. Sessoms and wife, Bethodell; step-grandchildren, Katrina Dawn Faircloth and Jamie Lynn Norris; several step-great and great-great grandchildren; nephew, Nicky Sessoms, and a brother-in-law, Alton Tanner.             The family will receive friends following the graveside service.              In accordance with NC-COVID-19 guidelines, the funeral home suggests practicing social distancing and the three W's: wait, wash, and wear a face covering.
