Hazel Hayes

Four Oaks, NC - Mrs. Hazel Stewart Hayes, 94, of 6852 Devils Racetrack Road passed away Tuesday at Johnston Medical Center in Smithfield. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Friday, October 7, 2011 at Pauline Baptist Church. Officiating will be Dr. Robert Cooke and Dr. Sherrill Stevens.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Hayes was born February 5, 1917 in Johnston County a daughter of the late Luther Daniel and Mackie Barefoot Stewart.She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Millard Hayes, Sr. She was a homemaker, a retired employee of Sylvania Electronics and a member of Pauline Baptist Church.             Surviving are: Daughter & Son-in-law, Sandra H & Marvin Hix of Four Oaks, Sons & Daughters-in-law, Danny & Barbara Hayes, Mike & Sharrion Hayes and R. M. & Jewel Hayes all of Four Oaks; Sisters, Edna Dawes of Massachusetts and Ila Wrenn of Maryland; Twelve Grandchildren and Twelve Great-Grandchildren. Family will receive friends from 6:00PM to 8:00PM Thursday October 6, 2011 at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson and at the residence at other times.
