Hearley Hosea Barnes

Angier, NC: Mr. Hearley Hosea Barnes, age 86, of Carson Gregory Road passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2022 at Liberty Commons Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Benson. Funeral Services will be 2:00PM, Thursday, May 5, 2022 at Lee’s Grove Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church in Dunn.  Revs. Randy Beasley and Keith Bonner will officiate. Burial will follow in Harnett Memorial Park in Lillington.

Mr. Barnes was born on June 29, 1935 in Harnett County, NC to the late Thomas Hosea and Zadie Byrd Barnes. He was a retired farmer and a member of Lee’s Grove Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church in Dunn.

Surviving includes his wife of 65 years, Blondell Lee Barnes; children, Ronald Barnes and wife, Donna of Angier, Cindy McLamb and husband, Marshall of Benson; grandchildren, Heather Godwin and husband, James of Benson, Leigh Ann Walker and husband, Carson of Angier; great-grandchildren, Peyton Godwin, Eli Godwin, Zadie Walker; brother, James Garley Barnes of Cary and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 12:30PM to 1:45PM on Thursday, May 5, 2022 at Lee’s Grove Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church in Dunn prior to the service and other times at the home.
