Henry Herbert Bryant, Sr.

Mr. Henry Herbert Bryant, Sr., age, 88, of Benson, NC, passed away on Monday, July 12, 2021 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. A Memorial Service, handled by the family, will be 12:00PM, Friday, July 16, 2021 at Burnell Baptist Church outside Four Oaks, NC. Rev. Jessie Brock will officiate. Private burial of cremains will be held.

Mr. Bryant was born on July 31, 1932 in Nash County to the late Willie Oliver and Ophelia Whitaker Bryant. He was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters. Mr. Bryant was a retired Grocery Store Clerk and was also a US Army Veteran. He was a member of Burnell Baptist Church outside Four Oaks, NC.

Surviving include his wife of 32 years, Mildred Ann Bryant; children, Suzanne Field, Donna Allen, and Henry Herbert “Herbie” Bryant, Jr., seven grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson; brother, Pete Bryant; many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends following the memorial service at Burnell Baptist Church, Four Oaks, NC
