Coats, NC: Mrs. Hettie Mae Clifton Ennis, age 87, of Coats died Saturday, March 3, 2012, at Johnston Memorial Hospital in Smithfield. Funeral services will be 11:00AM Tuesday, March 6, 2012, at the Coats United Methodist Church. Officiating will be Rev. Rick Wilkerson and Dr. Tommy Smith. Burial will follow in Lakeside Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Ennis was born December 28, 1924 in Johnston County to the late E.N. Clifton, Jr. and Melissa Honeycutt Clifton. She was also preceded in death by her Husband, Thomas E. Ennis. Mrs. Ennis was a seamstress at Block Industries in Benson. She was also a homemaker, a member of the Coats United Methodist Church and a member of the Coats Senior Center. Surviving include Daughters & Sons-in-law; Miriam E. & Donald G. Byrd of Raleigh and Charlotte E. & Jon Thomas Parks of Glen Allen, Va.; Grandchildren & Spouses, Cynthia L. & Eric Villani and Andrew N. & Julie Byrd; Great Grandchildren, Garrett & Ansley Byrd, and Nicholas & Darci Villani; Step-Mother, Elizabeth Williford of Four Oaks; and many loving Nieces & Nephews. Family will receive friends from 6:00PM to 8:00PM Monday, March 5, 2012 at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Coats.
