Hilda Dorman Hurd

Coats, NC: Mrs. Hilda Dorman Hurd, age, 89, died Saturday, February 2, 2019 at her residence.  Funeral Service will be 2:00 PM Monday, February 4, 2019 at Rose & Graham Funeral Chapel in Coats.  Officiating will be Rev. Ben Pearce.  Burial will follow in Coats City Cemetery.             Mrs. Hurd was born January 12, 1930 in Rudesheim am Rhine, Germany to the late Henrich and Theresa Dries Dorman. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Hurd; daughter, Judy Earnhardt; and sons, Ronnie and David Hurd. Mrs. Hurd  was a homemaker. Survivors include her children, Hank Hurd and wife, Martha of Fuquay-Varina, Linda H. Campbell and husband, Steve of Fairfax Station, VA; three grandchildren, Erin Stanaland and husband, Marcus, Lindsey Reeves and husband, Justin, Kristen Campbell; three great-grandchildren, Kealeb Adcock, Eve Stanaland, Bodhi Reeves; sister, Elfriede Ottes and husband, Karl of Rudeshiem am Rhine, Germany; nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends from 12:30 PM - 1:30 PM prior to the service at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Coats and other times at the home of Hank and Martha Hurd, 8016 Muirfield Drive, Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526.
