Hubert "Junior" Ennis, Jr.

Dunn, NC: Mr. Hubert “Junior” Ennis, Jr., age 82 of Evelyn Lane passed away on November 27, 2024 at his residence. Memorial Services will be 2:00PM Sunday, December 1, 2024 at the Rose & Graham Funeral Home Chapel in Benson. Officiating will be Rev. Randy Beasley. The family will receive friends immediately following the service and other times at the home of Kaylyn Powell, 2805 Fairground Road Dunn, NC 28334. 

Mr. Ennis was born on February 19, 1942 in Harnett County to the late Hubert and Evelyn E. Ennis. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rhea Ennis; a daughter, Renee Ennis, sister and brothers, Kay Ennis, Donald Ennis, Linwood Ennis, and Hal Ennis. Mr. Ennis loved to dance at the American Legion and Beaver Creek. He loved to fish and being outdoors. Mr. Ennis enjoyed eating breakfast with his friends at McDonald’s in Benson and cruising Benson in his sugar shack. He was a carpenter and could build about anything. 

Survivors are his daughter, Shawn Ennis of Pine Level; step-daughters, Chrystal Lanning of Kill Devil Hills, NC and Cindy Lanning of Ohio; sister, Pamalia Ennis of Dunn; brothers, Gary Ennis and wife, Ann of Benson, Phil Ennis and wife, Anne of Dunn, Stanley Ennis and wife, Pam of Pink Hill, NC, Perry Dale Ennis and wife, Nikki of Dunn; numerous nieces and nephews. 

In lieu flowers; memorials may be made to Shawn Ennis, 139 Evelyn Lane Dunn, NC 28334.
