Ida Thompson

Four Oaks, NC:  Mrs. Ida Holmes Thompson, age 76 of 217 Keen Road died Sunday at Rex Healthcare. Funeral Service will be 2:00 PM Wednesday at Rose & Graham Funeral Home Chapel in Four Oaks, NC     Pastor Kevin Edwards will officiate. Burial will follow in the Piney Grove Church Cemetery.Mrs. Thompson was born on July 24, 1941 in Johnston County to the late Bill and Esther Stanley Holmes.  She was preceded in death by her son, Ricky Thompson. Mrs. Thompson was a homemaker and member of  Four Oaks Church of God.Surviving are husband of 60 years, William Hunter Thompson, children and spouses, Kenneth and Diane Thompson of Erwin; Gary and Roxanne Thompson and Patsy Thompson all of Four Oaks; five grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Kay Thompson of Benson; many nieces and nephews.The family will receive friends 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM Tuesday at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Four Oaks and other times at the home.Service Information
