Carlton Lee

Four Oaks, NC: Mr. Ira Carlton Lee, age 72, passed away on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at the SECU Hospice House in Smithfield, NC. Graveside Funeral Services will be 11:00AM, Friday, April 25, 2025 at Hills of the Neuse Memory Gardens in Smithfield, NC. Rev. Wayne Dunn will officiate.

Carlton was born on October 17, 1952 in Johnston County, NC, to the late Ira B. Lee and Lommie Allen Lee. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his sister, Peggy Lee, and brothers, Jerry Lee, and Donald Ray Lee. He enjoyed watching cartoons on TV, riding his 3-wheeler, and his golf cart. He also loved to give children candy anytime he saw one. Carlton was a member of Lee’s Union Advent Christian Church, Four Oaks, NC.

Survivors include his brother, Steve Lee and wife, Lisa; sister-in-law, Jo Ann Lee Honeycutt, and husband, Robert; and many loving nieces and nephews

The family will receive friends following the graveside service at the cemetery, and other times at the home of Jo Ann Lee Honeycutt on Lee’s Union Church Road, Four Oaks, NC 27524.
