Dunn, NC: Mr. James Claude Johnson, age 72, of 45 Happy Trails Lane died Wednesday October 5, 2011 at Johnston Memorial Hospital in Smithfield. Graveside services will be 3:00 PM Sunday at Roselawn Cemetery in Benson. Mr. Johnson was born August 28, 1939 in Johnston County to the late Cornelius and Alma Bryant Johnson. He was preceded in death by his wife, Eloise Raynor Johnson; Sister, Ethel West; Brothers, Wiley and Luther Johnson. Mr. Johnson was a butcher with Carlie C’s Meat in Dunn. Surviving include; Sisters, Myrtle Moore of Durham, Eloise Adams of Clayton, Barbara Norris of Raleigh, Judy Haney of Dunn; Brothers, Ira B. Johnson of Syracuse, NY, Louis M. Johnson of Venice, FL; Special Friend, Josephine Webb; God-Daughter, Shana Avery; God-Grandchildren, Garrett and Cayden Avery; Several Nieces and Nephews. The family will receive friends from 1:00PM to 2:30PM at Rose & Graham Funeral Home prior to the graveside services.
