James Nordan

Willow Spring, NC: Mr. James Roy “J.R.” Nordan age 68 of 832 Shadow Lakes Dr. died Friday at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh. A Memorial Service will be 11:00AM Monday at Friendly Chapel Church, 11455 NC HWY 50 North, Benson. Officiating will be Pastor R.B. Parrish. Mr. Nordan was born September 21, 1944 in Harnett County to the late Roy Fulton Nordan and Lottie Suggs Nordan of Benson. He was also preceded in death by a Brother, Gilbert Nordan. Mr. Nordan was a retired car sales manager. He served in the US Army and was a member of Friendly Chapel Church. Surviving in addition to his Mother, is his Wife, Gail Kennedy Nordan; Children, Lisa Kennedy of Raleigh, Jamie Nordan of Lexington, Patrick Nordan of High Point, Mark Kennedy of Apex, and  Tod Kennedy of Fuquay; Sisters, Jo Ann Sleeper of Erwin, Sandra Coats of Dunn, and Renee Nordan of Benson; Brother, Darryl Nordan of Benson; Five Grandchildren. Family will receive friends immediately following the memorial service in the church vestibule. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Friendly Chapel Church, 11455 NC HWY 50 North, Benson, NC 27504, or one’s favorite charity.
