James Anderson Burgess

Four Oaks, NC: Mr. James Anderson Burgess, age 98, of US 301 S. passed away on Monday, January 11, 2021 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. The Burgess Family will be holding services at a later date in Alabama.             Mr. Burgess was born on June 15, 1922 in Alabama to the late William Turner and Marguerite Anderson Burgess. He retired from the US Marine Corp as a MGYSCT, E-9.             Surviving are his children, Laurie Cashion and husband, James of Four Oaks, David Burgess of Four Oaks, Sherwin Fellen of Boise, Idaho; wife, Sue Fellen; two children, Michael Fellen and Kelly Fellen; grandchildren, Marina Cashion, Jesse Cashion, Tobias Cashion, James Joseph Cashion; great-grandson, Roland Cashion; sister-in-law, Mary Burgess of Birmingham of AL; niece, Mary Frances Sharpe of Birmingham, AL.             The family appreciates your thoughts and prayers.                 Condolences may be sent to the family at roseandgraham.com.              Arrangements by Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Four Oaks, NC.
