James "Frankie" Stephenson

Willow Spring, NC:  Mr. James Franklin “Frankie” Stephenson, age 66, of 2284 Sanders Road peacefully died Saturday, February 9, 2013, at Duke Raleigh Hospital.  A funeral service will be 3:00PM Tuesday, February 12, 2013, at Fellowship Baptist Church in Clayton.  Dr. Charles Ennis, Brother Keith Holland, and Mr. Donald Young will officiate.  Burial will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Park in Clayton. Frankie was born March 12, 1946 in Johnston County to the late Ralph and Pauline Sullivan Stephenson.  He was also preceded in death by a sister, Marie Stephenson.  Frankie served in the U. S. Army. He was the owner and operator of James F. Stephenson Licensed General Contractor and was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church. Surviving are wife of 47 years, Sue Pulley Stephenson; son & daughter-in-law, James F. “Junior” & Susan A. Stephenson of Willow Spring; daughter & son-in-law, Lisa S. & Tyson Langdon of Garner; grandchildren, Skyler Langdon, Graci Stephenson, Calli Jo Stephenson, and Serina Langdon; sister, Shirley Bledsoe of Willow Spring; brothers, Glenwood Stephenson of Willow Spring, Charles Stephenson of Danville, VA, Robert Sherrill Stephenson, and Ronald Wayne Stephenson, both of Willow Spring. Family will receive friends at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson from 6:00PM to 8:00PM Monday, February 11, 2013.
