Janice Mitchell

Benson, NC: Mrs. Janice Pollard Mitchell, age 69, died Saturday at Johnston Health Care in Smithfield.  A Graveside service will be 2:00PM Tuesday at Dixon Family Cemetery in Benson.  Officiating will be Mr. Steve Southers. Mrs. Mitchell was born March 6, 1946 in Harnett County to the late Jimmy and Mildred Byrd Pollard.  She was a homemaker.  She is survived by husband, Ira Lee Mitchell; son & daughter-in-law, Richard Lee & Jenny Mitchell of Benson; sisters & brothers-in-law, Jean & D. H. Price of Wendell, Nancy & Bruce Parrish of Benson, and Vonya & Donald Puckett of Benson; brothers & sisters-in-law, James C. & Ann Pollard of Benson and Stephen E. & Andrea Southers of Benson; brother-in-law, Donald Mitchell of Benson; grandchildren, Brandon Lee Mitchell, Justin Holder, and Angel H. Livesay; and 3 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the home of Nancy & Bruce Parrish, 475 Aquilla Road, Benson, NC.
