Janice Barefoot Stewart

Benson, NC: Mrs. Janice Barefoot Stewart, age 75, of 202  West Harnett Street died Saturday, November 23, 2019 at the SECU Hospice House in Smithfield. The family will be receiving friends at her home and will hold a private service at a later date.             Mrs. Stewart was born on November 2, 1944 in Harnett County to the late Paul V. and Anna Christine McLamb Barefoot. She retired from the Short Stop convenient stores where she served as a cashier and manager. Mrs. Stewart loved working in her garden and crocheting.             Surviving include her children, Todd Norris and wife, Sherry of Benson, Cathy Pleasant and husband, Rodney of Coats, Thomas Norris and wife, Lorrie of Angier, Cindy Ivey and husband, Tony of Benson; ten grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a very special friend, James Pearson of Benson.             In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to SECU Hospice House P.O.
