Janie Walton Holloway

Four Oaks, NC: Mrs. Janie Walton Holloway, age 89, passed away on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.  Graveside Funeral Services will be 11:00AM-Monday, November 27, 2023 at Four Oaks City Cemetery in Four Oaks, NC.  Rev. John Norman will officiate. 

Mrs. Holloway was born on August 29, 1934 in Johnston County, NC to the late Jacob and Josie Clifton Walton.  She was preceded in death by her husband, H.K. “Red” Holloway, brothers, Charles Walton and Glen Walton, and a sister, Helen Creech.  Mrs. Holloway was a retired Assistant Clerk of Court in Johnston County, NC.  She was a member of First Baptist Church in Four Oaks, NC, and the Eastern Star. She was devoted to her family, and was very dedicated to her Clerk of Court family until her retirement.   

Survivors include her children, Mitchell Keith Holloway, Sr, and wife, Pandora of Garner, NC; and Sharon Fogleman and husband, Eric, Sr., of Four Oaks, NC; grandchildren, Eric Fogleman, Jr. and wife, Carly, Keith Holloway, and wife, Kendall, Brian Fogleman, Colby Holloway, and wife, Brittany; great-grandchildren, Emilia Claire Fogleman, Nolan Ross Fogleman, Kennedy Holloway, and Theodore Holloway; many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends following the graveside service on Monday at Four Oaks City Cemetery in Four Oaks, NC.

The family wishes to express their appreciation to Tabatha Kline and Betty Locklear for their loving care to our Mother.
