Dunn, NC: Mr. Jerry David Jackson, Jr., age 49, of 238 Tanning Ridge Drive died Saturday, September 12, 2015, in South Carolina from injuries in a motorcycle accident. Funeral services will be 11:00AM Wednesday, September 16, 2015, at the Rose & Graham Funeral Home Chapel in Benson. Officiating will be Chaplain Dennis Manuel and Chief Scott Phillips. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery in Dunn.
Mr. Jackson was born August 23, 1966 in Charleston, SC to Jerry David Jackson, Sr. of Elizabethtown and the late Drucilla Johnson Jackson. He was a 1984 graduate of East Bladen High School and enlisted in the U. S. Navy following graduation. Mr. Jackson was a Captain of the Dunn Emergency Services where he served as a paramedic and a firefighter.
Surviving, in addition to his father, are wife, Kimberly McLamb Jackson; sons, Cacey Reid Jackson of California and Hunter Ryan Jackson of the home; brother & sister-in-law, Jeff & Iris Jackson of Fayetteville; mother-in-law, Vernice Jones McLamb of Benson; brothers-in-law & sisters-in-law, Tony & Debbie McLamb of Benson, Travis & Jerri Lynn McLamb of Coats, and Tracy & Lori McLamb of Dunn; and nieces & nephews, Mia Jackson, Max Jackson, Katie McLamb, Brett McLamb, and Amberly McLamb.
The family will receive friends at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson from 5:00PM to 8:00PM Tuesday.
