Jerry Mozingo

Four Oaks:  Mr. Jerry Wayne Mozingo, age 71, of 2150 Keen Road died Monday at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh. Funeral services will be held 2:00PM-Wednesday at Rose & Graham Funeral Chapel in Four Oaks.  Officiating will be Rev. Charles Petit and Mr. Phil Massengill. Mr. Mozingo was born on December 2, 1943 in Johnston County to the late Eddie Leslie & Mozelle Ruth Whitley Mozingo.  Mr. Mozingo was a retired maintenance supervisor with Day By Day Treatment Center.  After retirement he repaired small engines at his home.   Surviving are wife of 47 years, Alice Faye Mozingo; daughter, Lisa Mozingo Shallington of Smithfield; sons, Ronald Mozingo and Larry Mozingo both of Four Oaks; step-sons, Donald Allen and Lonnie Allen both of Four Oaks; 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; sisters, Betsy Mitchell and Edna Burton both of Smithfield; June Fox of Florida; brothers, Eddie Mozingo of Smithfield; Frankie Mozingo and Don Mozingo both of Pine Level; many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Four Oaks from 1:00PM- 1:45 PM prior to the service. In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorials to the American Heart Association, PO Box 5216, Glenallen, VA, 23058-5216.
