Jerry Norris, Sr.

Four Oaks, NC: Mr. Jerry Edward Norris, Sr., age 71, died Thursday, July 26, 2012, at VA Medical Center in Durham. Memorial service will be 6:00PM Saturday, July 28, 2012, at the Rose & Graham Funeral Chapel in Four Oaks. Officiating will be Rev. Billy Nowell. Mr. Norris was born June 17, 1941 in Harnett County to the late John W. and Elma Register Norris. He was also preceded in death by brothers, Roland Norris, Bobby Norris, and Johnnie Norris. Mr. Norris served in the U. S. Air Force and was a bus mechanic for Wake County Schools. Surviving include children, Tammy Rodgers of New York and Jerry Norris, Jr. of Georgia; sisters, Elizabeth Johnson of Willow Spring and Barbara Bagwell of Garner; 3 Grandchildren; and sisters-in-law, Ellen Norris and Elgie Norris, both of Four Oaks. Family will receive friends at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Four Oaks immediately following the memorial service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to one’s favorite charity.
