Benson, NC: Mr. Jesse Edward “Pee Wee” Jackson, age 79, passed away on Monday, September 2, 2024 at his residence in Texas surrounded by his loving family. Funeral Services will be held-11:00 AM Monday, September 9, 2024 at the Rose & Graham Funeral Home Chapel in Benson. Officiating will be Pastors Pete Norris, Jr. and Eddie White. Burial will follow in Coats City Cemetery.
Mr. Jackson was born on October 27, 1944 in Harnett County to the late James Felton and Vada Norris Jackson. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Garland Jackson, Tommy Jackson, Billy Jackson, Clifton Jackson, Michael Jackson; and a sister, Helen Jackson Lee. He retired from B & S Heating and Air after 40 years of service. Mr. Jackson enjoyed playing baseball and watching his grandkids play as well. He enjoyed riding his lawnmower and working in his yard. He attended church at Coats Christ Fellowship.
Surviving are his wife of 58 years, Donna Ferguson Jackson; children, Randy Jackson and wife, Heidi of Benson, Lisa Griffin and husband, Sam of Texas; grandchildren, Kaitlin Raynor and husband, Luke, Blake Griffin and wife, Nicole, Courtney Carrera and husband, Victor; great-grandchildren, Bentley Raynor, Laney Raynor, Kaydence Carrera, Kenize Carrera, Skylar Griffin, and Jetson Griffin; sisters, Phyllis Champion of Coats, Lula Norris and husband, Danny of Coats; brother, Robert Jackson and wife, Vivian; numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6:00PM to 8:00PM on Sunday, September 8, 2024 at the Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson and other times at the home of Randy and Heidi Jackson.
