J. Kent Miller

Benson, NC: Mr. James Kent Miller, age 50, of 460 Bailey Road died Sunday, November 18, 2012, at his residence. A Graveside service will be 11:00AM Wednesday, November 21, 2012, at Hodges Chapel Church Cemetery. Officiating will be Rev. Glenn McCullen. Mr. Miller was born January 15, 1962 in Harnett County to Shirley Langdon Miller of Benson and the late James Bernice Miller. He and his family were in the automotive parts business. Mr. Miller was a member of the Benson Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church. He served in the N. C. National Guard Armory for over 15 years and was a member of Banner Post 109 American Legion. Surviving in addition to his Mother, are his Son, Brandon Kent Miller of Coats, Brother & Sister-In-Law, Max & Crystal Miller of Benson; Sister, Denise Lynn Miller of Coats; and Several Nieces & Nephews. Family will be making headquarters at the home of Shirley Miller, 9208 NC HWY 27, Benson, NC.  Flowers are welcomed, however memorials may be made to Disabled American Veterans, Attn: Gift Processing, P.
